We want to thank everyone for coming out last night to the planning board meeting to oppose the approval of the developers site plan for the Patrick Farm property. Your participation was noted in the news and we celebrate this community’s involvement.

As much as we would all have loved to have the planners simply vote to oppose the plans, this wasn’t something we could expect. Our strong desire was to have the public hearing held open so that all of you who wanted to come but couldn’t, or those that came but couldn’t stay so late, would have a chance to speak.

Unfortunately, the hearing was “closed” but the board said they would accept written questions and comments through December 15th. They now have 60 days to reply to the developer and the soonest that they would vote on this proposed plan is December 21st.

We are formulating a plan of attack and continue to need your support to write letters to the board, donate money to use for expert and legal representation, and to continue to attend the hearings so that the planning board sees the support that our cause has within the community.
